Marcus Johnson is another fine example of a young real estate agent following in the footsteps of a successful parent. His father was a REALTOR® for many years and Marcus always thought it might be something he’d like to try someday. That someday is today but along the way Marcus gained a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education. It was actually while Marcus was in college that Marsha Marsh approached him about getting his real estate license. Marsha saw potential in Marcus and although several years later, he followed her suggestions and today is an enterprising young REALTOR®.

In addition to his real estate aspirations, Marcus is approaching his seventh year as a teacher at Erie First Christian Academy. Marcus notes that his experience as a high school teacher has prepared him extensively for working with and serving a diverse audience.

Marcus has a true passion for helping others, whether it’s helping a student struggling in the classroom or working with an anxious home buyer in search of the perfect house. He also has a vision for seeing potential in a home that others might not readily see. He and his wife are a perfect example. They bought a home in a great location but the home needed some serious upgrades to fit their family. After completely renovating the kitchen, bathroom and building an addition in the attic, the house is perfect for the Johnson family.

Marcus and his wife Chandra have three children, Jeremiah, Samuel and Eve. In addition to the great joy he gets from spending time with his family, Marcus enjoys hunting, reading and playing guitar. He is also very active in the Sparrow Fellowship Church in Waterford.
